Fluid and flexible, Archr Design is a team of free-thinking young Brisbane architects and designers with the combined experience to take on any project. Our experience covers a wide array of sectors including residential, commercial design and fitouts, multi-residential, health and sports facilities, urban design, and masterplanning.
Operating out of lovely Spring Hill, we take our inspiration for current and future projects from the continuously evolving space around us. Our focus is on designing custom buildings that have character and substance while being tailored to suit our client’s needs, and providing them with the confidence that they’ll receive all the help required to turn their vision into a reality. To put it simply, we want to be known for two things: happy clients and great design.
We take our designs through from initial briefing meetings to a finalised constructed building and every stage in-between. We offer concept designs, council approval packages, building approvals, construction drawings and contract administration for a wide range of building typologies.
We have experience on a range of office, showroom & retail fitouts, as well as interior design for multi-residential apartments and high end townhouses. We offer concept packages, finishes and fixture selections and full documentation for construction.
We have a strong belief that design should be inclusive, and have taken steps to adopt a holistic design approach for all users. Building upon designing for disability housing, Archr Design are also qualified Livable Housing Australia assessors to provide assurance to our own designs.

We know that it’s important to establish strong relationships early in the design phase and see the building process as a collaborative experience between our studio, our clients, consultants, and contractors. Our team is there every step of the way to ensure that our client’s conceptual design transforms into a result that prioritises their vision of the space, as well as the community that space will become a part of. We like to make sure our designs balance the best in the beautiful modern minimalist architecture Brisbane is fast becoming known for, while keeping the end users in mind and remaining contextually sensitive to the site’s surroundings.
We’re also proud to specialise in LHA-standard liveable housing and disability sensitive design. In our non-residential sectors we like to remain as inclusive as possible during the design phase as we believe it serves everyone’s best interest. Inclusive design principles intend that all users, no matter their ability or background, are comfortable and can use the space equally. The more users that can happily enjoy our client’s end-product the better. When it comes to residential architects, Brisbane could always use more inclusive design while remaining true to the current aesthetic; at Archr Design we aim to create spaces that feel less like a hospital and more like home.
